Scott Sterling's tattoo machines are legendary. He has been
building them for 20 years. Long before the building craze we see in our midst.
He learned this craft from the top builders of our past. Paul
Rogers and Mike Malone to name just two and LOTS of personal experience. For
years Scott was well known for being Malone's building partner. If you wanted a
shader from China Sea (the legendary Sailor Jerry/Mike Malone shop in Hawaii)
you were getting one that Scott made. Those machines today (if not being used)
are highly sought after by collectors. Now
fast forward twenty years Scott has taken this expertise and designed both a
liner and a shader that will quickly be your #1 machines. A no- nonsense tool
that will make a professional tattooers jobs easier.
Just like twenty years ago Scott makes these one at a time and
tattoos with every unit before it leaves his hand. Scott has never been about
quantity. It has always been about
quality. The liner is based on both the Paul Rogers MadBee and the Malone
Rollomatic. This machine focuses on Scott's
experience as a builder. The wonderful
thing is those machines Paul and Rollo and Scott had to alter the frames to
create the best liner. Now the
alterations are already in the frame design!!!!! So you are getting the closest
thing anywhere today to a true Rollomatic or a MadBee.
These machines are have a short stroke and run very fast, but they
can be made to run with a longer stroke. Two shaders available: The classic
KolorKing is a shader based on a Jonsey frame, exactly like the ones Scott and
Mike sold in the early 90s, and the much anticipated Sterling Shader.
Finally Scott has designed his own frame. One designed by Scott specifically
for shading. He married the best parts of the best shaders in our past and
forged The Sterling Shader.
He is taking preorders for the Sterling Shaders. These should be
available by early April.
KolorKings are available now in a limited number. After these are gone, and the Sterling
Shaders arrive; Scott will still make kolorkings but only by request.
All new machines are
$500.00 and $525.00 plus $11.50 for shipping.
